Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nepal

Hon. Prime Minister of Nepal, Mr. Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' handed over the Nepali national flag to Korea-Nepal joint expedition team which is going to ascend Mt. Jugal to mark the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Nepal on Saturday, April 6th, 2024. 

Hon. Prime Minister, Mr. Dahal handed over the flag to the team comprising three Nepalis and seven Koreans and led by renowned Korean mountainer, Mr. Um Hong-gil  and Nepal Mountaineering Association. 

On this occasion, Hon. Prime Minister, Mr. Dahal extended best wishes to the team for a successful ascent and also expressed his confidence that this step would further strengthen friendly ties between Nepal and Korea. 

The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Mr. Tea-young Park expressed his gratitude for Hon. Prime Minister, Mr. Dahal's blessing to the team and said that he hoped the people to people exchanges between the two countries would become more active on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
